As 2024 ends, I find myself reflecting on a year that has been nothing short of transformational—for me personally and for the journey we have embarked on at AIonOS. This year holds a special place in my heart. After decades in the industry, 2024 marked the launch of AIonOS—a dream built on the promise of AI and emerging technologies to reimagine how businesses deliver results. We have only just begun, but the vision is bold, and the path ahead is exciting.
2024 was not just about professional milestones. Personally, I took on a challenge to prioritize my health. At the time of my retirement, I weighed 104 kg. Today, I am at 98 kg, and by April 2025, I am determined to hit 94 kg. This journey is a reminder that progress is about persistence—whether in business or in life. Staying fit and healthy is not just a goal; it is a commitment to be the best version of myself for the people and projects I care deeply about.
This year, I have had the privilege of meeting countless clients, partners, and teams across the globe. These interactions reinforced something I have always believed: in-person meetings are irreplaceable in our line of work. It helps capture the nuances of an on-ground conversation—the feedback, the emotions, the insights. These moments shape our understanding of what truly matters and guide us in making impactful decisions.
I often talk about extreme ownership—a principle I live by and encourage in every team I work with. No matter the task, owning it fully, seeing it through, and contributing to the broader business objectives creates a ripple effect of success. Every single contribution matters, and it is this collective ownership that builds resilient organizations.
Beyond AIonOS, my passion for education and skill development has continued to grow. As a board member of UpGrad, Mahindra University, IIM Nagpur, and Plaksha University, I have collaborated with the teams in preparing the next generation for a future that demands adaptability, creativity, and purpose. Our education system must evolve, and I feel privileged to play a role in bridging the gap between traditional education and the skills the future workforce needs.
2024 was also a year of guiding and mentoring upcoming entrepreneurs. In my recent blog, Will the Real ‘Entrepreneurial Managers’ Please Stand Up? I emphasized the need for organizations to foster a new breed of leaders—entrepreneurial managers who bring agility, accountability, and innovation to every challenge. I remain committed to nurturing this mindset across industries.
AIonOS is where my focus and excitement converge. When we launched AIonOS on April 23, 2024, we started with a bold mission: to challenge traditional ways of working and leverage AI and emerging technologies to create real-world impact for businesses. Our mission is not just about transformation—it is about delivering measurable outcomes and empowering businesses to achieve what once seemed impossible.
As we step into 2025, I am optimistic. AIonOS has a long way to go, but the foundation we have built this year is solid. We are moving fast, and the possibilities ahead are boundless.
